Processing of personal data and privacy policy - EU Regulation 2016/679
1. Data controller
Assis-tec S.r.l. with registered office in Via Borsellino 1E 42019 Arceto (RE) (Italy) (hereinafter the "Company", "Assis-tec" or the "Data Controller") guarantees compliance with the regulations on the protection of personal data by providing the following information on the processing of data communicated or however collected while browsing this website.
2. Processed data, purpose and legal basis of the processing
Data generated by access to the site
The computer systems and software procedures used to run this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. These data (such as domain names, IP addresses, operating systems used, type of browser device used for the connection) are not accompanied by any additional personal information and are used to: i) obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site; ii) manage control requirements on the way the site is used, iii) ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes. The legal basis legitimising the processing of such data is the need to make the site's functions usable following access by the user.
Data provided voluntarily by the user
The personal data provided by the user via the form are collected and processed for the following purposes:
- for carrying out the customer relationship activities in accordance with the contractual agreements;
- for administrative purposes and for the fulfilment of legal obligations, such as, for example, accounting and tax obligations, or to comply with requests from judicial authorities;
- in the presence of specific consent, for the periodic sending, by email, or newsletters and advertising material;
- in the presence of specific consent, for receiving updates on the company's activities and reports on the publication of blog posts;
- in the presence of specific consent, for receiving promotional communications and invitations to events, training courses, webinars, special promotions or for participating in analysis and market research;
- in the case of sending a curriculum vitae, exclusively for the selection of personnel.
The legal basis that legitimises the processing is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or the performance of pre-contractual measures requested by said data subject. In the cases expressly indicated, the legal basis is the free consent given by the data subject.
3. Nature of data provision
Apart from what has been specified for navigation data and for data collected through the site, the provision of data:
- with respect to the purposes referred to in letters a), b) and f) is optional, but any refusal to provide such data may make it impossible for Assis-tec to fulfil its contractual obligations.
- with respect to the purposes referred to in letters c), d) and e) is also optional, and their use is subject to the granting of an explicit consent. Any refusal may make it impossible for Assis-tec to send newsletters and advertising material or invitations to Assis-tec events and initiatives.
4. Processing method and data retention period
The data collected shall be processed using electronic tools, or using automated, IT and computerised tools, or processed manually with logics strictly related to the purpose for which the personal data were collected, and, in any case, so as to ensure the security of said data. The data are kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected in accordance with the current regulations and legal obligations.
In any case, Assis-tec implements rules that prevent the retention of data indefinitely and therefore limits the retention time in accordance with the principle of minimising data processing.
5. People authorised to process, manage and communicate data
The data collected are processed by Assis-tec’s internal staff identified for this purpose and authorised to process the data in accordance with specific instructions given in compliance with current legislation.
The data collected, if necessary or instrumental to achieving the aforementioned purposes, may be processed by third parties appointed as external data processors, or, depending on the case, communicated to these data processors as independent data controllers, and specifically:
- companies belonging to our corporate group for the purposes referred to in point 1 letters a), b) and f);
- people, companies, associations or professional firms that provide assistance and consulting services to our Company, for the purposes referred to in point 1 of letters b) and f);
- companies, bodies, associations that provide services connected and instrumental to achieving the aforementioned purposes (market analysis and research service, management of credit card payments, maintenance of computer systems, etc.).
The data collected may also be transferred abroad, to companies that are or are not part of our corporate group, even outside of the European Union, in compliance with current legislation, guaranteeing in any case an adequate level of protection.
Personal data will never be disclosed in any case.
6. Rights of the Data Subject
At any time, data subjects may access their data, object to its processing or request erasure, modification or updating of any personal data collected by Assis-tec, exercising their right to restriction of the processing and the right to data portability, by sending an email to vendite@assistec.cc
